What checks do you do on your staff?
All staff undergo reference checks, criminal record checks and working with children checks. In addition we have an ongoing performance monitoring system to ensure that staff meet the high standards we expect.
What experience and training do your staff have?
Many staff come to us with years of experience and training in aged and community care. We also offer training assistance for Home Care and Disability studies. All staff have current First Aid Certificate and participate in our training schedule which includes key community care and workplace health & safety topics.
What are your rates and minimum hours of service?
We have a one hour minimum charge and rates vary depending on what time of the week and what time of the day you would like help. Contact our office for an obligation-free quote.
Can I get emergency care at short notice?
We pride ourselves on being able to get help to you often within as little as an hour if needed.
Can I change my careworker if I want to?
We try to make sure that you are matched with someone you are compatible with, however, if there is ever a problem we can change your careworker whenever you like.
Can I cancel services?
Yes, we do request 24hours notice if possible, but we understand that sometimes there are unforeseen emergency situations that arise and we will do the best we can to minimise expense to you.
What happens if my careworker is sick or away?
We can provide an alternative carer for you or re-schedule services to suit you.
Do I have to pay the careworker directly?
No. If you are paying for services privately, we will bill you monthly – there is no need to pay your carer directly.
